Cold Email Tool
Introduction
'Tis the season where all high schoolers are scrambling to finalize their plans for the summer. Last year, I created a script to simplify the process of cold emailing for myself, and in the past few weeks, I have revived and significantly improved the project. With large improvements in web scraping and updated APIs, this tool is now more efficient than ever. If anyone is struggling with sending out a volume of emails or is looking to start their scientific research journey, I recommend checking out my tool.

Feel free to shoot me a DM for a personal demonstration. I'm happy to help with a few emails as examples.
Project Highlights
- Protects against hallucination: Uses multiple sources of information about the professor so that misinformation unlikely to end up in the actual email. All information from the web is verified with an API call to Google Scholar.
- Summarizes at each step of the way: Summarizing after each api call and each website scrape helps condense information and keep all running text relevant.
- Uses latest LLM Agents: Uses GPT-4 Turbo to summarize text and combine for final output. Also uses latest Prompt Engineering techniques to result in best possible cold email.
